I worked for corporate America for 22 years in customer service, marketing, and operations, and have been a solopreneur for the past 7 plus years.  When I first started my business, I knew I needed a business plan. So, I did what we all do when we are trying to find something…turn to Google! 

 

The problem was that every Google search came up with these super long templates with information I could not decipher! This scared me off from even trying to fill it out (can you relate?). 

 

So, I created two businesses without having a business plan! As I began my business, I realized that a business plan was a MUST! See a business plan keeps you on brand, on message, and targeting the right customers.  

 

As I began my consulting business, I quickly realized 80% of small business owners did not have a solid business plan.  This caused them unnecessary wasted time and growing pains as an entrepreneur.

 

Wait… I forgot to mention the money! Without a business plan you will waste money marketing to the wrong customers.
